- Measure at the end of the dayFingers swell slightly as the hours pass and with heat.
- Check the knuckleThe ring has to pass over your knuckle, which is usually wider than the base of the finger.
- Warm hands onlyIn the cold your finger contracts and the measurement comes out smaller than it really is.
- Don't pull the string tightIt should wrap the finger without marking the skin. Pull it tight and the ring will be too snug.
