At eWear, we prioritize the safety of your payments. That's why we've developed an extra-secure system designed to protect you and your funds in any situation.

To make a payment, the ring must be parallel to the POS terminal (with your hand in a fist) and at a specific distance. This is what we call 'Anatomical Protection,' ensuring there’s no possibility of unintended payments or unauthorized scanning of your wearable without your consent.

When you connect your wearable to one of your cards, the concept of tokenization comes into play. A unique token is created that can only be used for payments made with the wearable. For instance, it cannot be used for online purchases like a credit card. Even in the unlikely event that the token information is leaked, it cannot be used in any way other than with the ring.

If your wearable is lost or stolen, you can block it in just a few clicks using the Fidesmo app, similar to how you would block a credit card. Rest assured, your credentials — such as your name, credit card number, or CVV code — are not stored on the ring, so your information remains secure even if the ring is misplaced. There's no need to block the card linked to your wearable; simply block the wearable itself.
